Twins At Home Day One

We survived! Our first day at home with our twins was not as stressful as we anticipated with both of them taking their full feeds plus more! And the timing was not too out either with Emma taking to a longer interval between feeds (having eaten more than what she was given at hospital).

I tried doing a simultaneous feed last night which was interesting as Daniel likes to jerk the bottle around and Emma just sucks sedately but steadfastly away. Daniel also seemed to sense the co-feed as he demanded lots of attention, calming down immediately when he got the attention. Is this the beginning of competition between them? Emma just sucked and fell asleep - no competing from her.

Tonight Emma was the one demanding all the attention while Daniel slept after his usual after-dinner niggles.

So things are on track - a few minor wobbles but nothing significant.

Hi U4
Seems strange to say you 4 now as it is less than 3 weeks ago we had a fab weekend with just U2.There was never any doubt in our minds about you coping as the 2 of you are very organised and together.Welcome home Emma. U & Daniel are blessed with the best parents you could have wished 4.
Luv you all. Barry

WELCOME HOME EMMA!
I'm sure you'll both do absolutely fabulous with the caring parents you have. I know that my sisters and I can't wait to meet you two little munchkins. You are in excelent hands.
As for the parents...
You were made for this, otherwise it would have never happened. I think the road only gets brighter, not harder.
