Monday Already!

Yep, it is Monday already! We are exhausted having spent the weekend doing - yip you guessed it - the babies all weekend. Thank goodness, Norose arrived at 7pm to take over for the night.
The big event this weekend was going for a walk using our very fancy 4x4 twins pram. Walked all the way to the local shopping centre to have a cup of coffee at the local coffee shop and to pick up a video for Saturday night. Then we did it all again on Sunday to return the video and buy the Sunday papers. It all went really well with both babies sleeping all the way. Quite nice to get out for some exercise in the late Spring weather. Enjoyed the movie "Tattoo" too.

Otherwise. Emma has been an absolute angel and Daniel has been niggling a great deal. Of course today, Daniel was the angel and Emma could not keep her voice down!
We've moved the babies location to our lounge in the day as sitting looking at babies all day, day in and day out is a little too much. So now at least there is the TV to watch as well as the sleeping or complaining or feeding babies. So the babies got to watch two great rugby games, a great movie "Tattoo" and the other mindless rubbish one gets - ok Animal Planet is great. They missed our best programme "Grey's Anatomy" as Norose arrived.

Of great concern is a swelling just above Daniel's crotch From our internet investigation, it seems to be an undescended testicle and a small hernia. As it is not really hurting him and according to the website we visited it is not of major concern, it will wait until the visit to the Paed on Wednesday. His plumbing is still working VERY well.
The Daltons from Durban visited on Saturday afternoon - nice to see them again.

Fred and Alex Desille (our Belgian friends) visited on Sunday afternoon with a very welcome gift of several meals. Really fantastic. Unfortunately they are going back to Belgium after a five year stay in SA. Fred was my best man at our wedding. We'll miss them and their two children a great deal - They were our first friends when we came back to Joburg. The Desille family (a photo from last year before the birth of Oscar) - our saviours this weekend:

Well as Norose is here - it is early bedtime for us - sleep, sleep, sl e e p, s l e e p.
