I have just returned from collecting Daniel at the hospital and boy are we glad to have him home again! He is on antibiotics for 3 days, and we are going to see our paed and urologist on Tuesday next week, so will see what they say then.
He did vomit his feed this morning, which is not a great sign, but I fed him again before we came home and he has kept that down, so maybe some of the medicine was not agreeing with him. The swelling in his groin (as a result of the surgery) has reduced significantly, and the wound does not seem to be hurting him. He is just sleepy as they gave him some stopyn this morning.
I spoke to the urologist again this morning and he says that we just need to watch it (as Steve said in our previous post) and if the bowel bulges out again then they will have to operate again.
Just a waiting game really....
