Hernias

Another hot and niggly day is gone. Monday's are our worst days as Stephen has to get some sleep before work which means Fiona pulls the red eye shift plus the day - a long day. The night nurses arrival feels like Xmas day arriving for an eight year old child!

News is that Daniel's hernia seems to be back as there is a dramatic increase in the swelling on the right side of his groin. We gave him some more very strong Stopain (precribed by the Doctor after his operation) this evening as he was screaming - something that is very unusual for him. Luckily we have a paed and urologist visit tomorrow. We worry about another operation but if it has to be, it has to be.

They are both starting to become real humans which is fantastic to be paert of - Emma is looking ultra-sharp, even turning her head to our calling of her name. Daniel seems to be slowing down a bit - probably the effects of his operation.

Baby basics is starting to come to its end - we are loving parenthood more and more as their characters emerge.

Sleep ...
