16 weeks old

Can you believe that they are 16 weeks old! They are currently experiencing 16 week niggles linked to a growth spurt, so are a bit more cranky than usual and eating loads.

They had a hectic week last week, as they accompanied Aunty Caro to all her appointments, including shopping for a uniform, knives and 2 interviews! They also had a visit from Andrew who is a friend of theirs.

Daniel's development is great, with his neck finally starting to get really strong. He is beginning to sing along when I sing to him which is very cute, and is reaching for toys as well as his toes. Emma is a little behind at the moment, but her aim when reaching for toys is superb. She hasn't discovered her toes yet, but has accidentally grabbed her knees a couple of times!

They are loving their baths, and Daniel has worked out that kicking his feet in the water produces big noises and splashes! Emma sits more quietly in the bath, but kicks madly whenever she lies on her changing table.

Life for me carries on as normal, but it is a lot more fun now being at home, as Caro is with me. Don't know what I'll do when she gets a job... Steve is writing exams this week, so is at home for most of the days on study and exam leave. Roll on Friday evening when he will be finished.
