The mouth is not enough

It was a pretty uneventful weekend from a baby point of view! Aunty Caroline looked after them on Friday night as Steve took me out to dinner. It was a welcome change of scenery and we had a good evening.

Emma has started sleeping through on most nights which is fabulous, but Daniel's tummy still bothers him - especially between the hours of 2 - 7am! It has also been so hot in JHB and they have both struggled a bit with that, especially Emma! They didn't wear clothes the entire weekend, and yesterday while out in the garden they were both wiped down with a damp facecloth which they both seemed to enjoy. The only negative thing about not wearing clothes is that the mosquitoes have been eating them alive but they don't seem to be too bothered by the bites, and don't even wake up when they are bitten.

There are distinct personality differences emerging with Daniel being ultra patient and understanding about his sister's more demanding nature. Emma on the other hand, performs when Daniel gets a cuddle, and is quiet as soon as we turn our attention to her. Naughty little minx!
