Emma is thankfully better, after a 5 day course of antibiotics. I was struggling to administer it, but very quickly discovered that the required dose in a couple of spoons of plain yoghurt went down a treat, so that is my new favourite technique!
In a couple of attached photos, Emma and Daniel are sucking on a pice of dried mango, which they both absolutely loved, and slobbered and drooled over for hours!
Daniel is under the playgym on his tummy, his favourite position to view the world from these days, and in another is in a cow baby grow, given to us by a friend of mine who visited Switzerland and found these cute grows. They are still too big for Emma, but fit Daniel quite well.
We have had a relatively good week, with Daniel sleeping through 4 nights and Emma 2. Unfortunately, one can't have it all, and their new thing is to have an hour's nap at about 8pm, but then to be very awake until close to midnight. That is killing Steve and me, and we will have to be a bit harsh with them to get them to bed earlier. This has been happening since I started work again, so maybe has something to do with the fact that I am not here during the day.
Today we attended the Christening of the son of one of Steve's cousins. Gavin, Sam and Thomas (featured in a blog entry last year when Thomas was born) live in London, but came out for a wedding, and decided to have Tom christened here. He is a cutie pie of 4 1/2 months, and was full of smiles on his special day. I have attached a photo of them and us. Sadly they all go home tomorrow evening.
Let's hope the week ahead is full of sleep and smiles! Have a good one everybody!
