Last night, Fiona and I went on a restaurant "tour" at the design quarter in Fourways, Johannesburg. The tour, which was organised by Food and Home Magazine, involved eating a different part of our meal at a different restaurant in the quarter. We started out with an entree of peppery Gazpacho followed by a crab and shrimp bisque starter. Our main at Tribes were two meat skewers with really tasty meat followed by baklava at a Greek restaurant. Each meal was accompanied by a suitable bottle of wine supplied by KWV. Very nice. Ok, Fiona drove home! She also won a gift pack of KWV wines! We were also surprised and happy to see Richard and Sherry at the event. Thanks to Caroline for looking after the twins!
Yesterday we picked up our trailer with registration plates! Looks like eNatis is finally working - a good thing for SA. The trailer is magnificent. It will take a lot of luggage to fill the trailer! At the moment, everything can fit into the nose cone compartment! It nice to be able to take everything we need.
Well, we travel tonight to Harrismith. We are all so excited. Fiona and I were saying how much more excited we'll be when the twins can understand a holiday - it will be one fantastic event.
