As It Is In Heaven

The person that Caroline is renting from has decided to allow her to stay rent-free in her accommodation for May. Very nice of her. So Caroline is moving into her new abode tomorrow morning.

Caroline offered to babysit the babies tonight so we could go out. Well, what a great evening. After eating at a restaurant at the Zone in Rosebank, we went to see a Swedish movie called "As it is in Heaven" (Så som i Himmelen).

Well, what a phenomenal movie - we both think that it is one of the best movies we have ever seen - very humbling and yet inspiring. It is a bit of a "chick flick." It was nominated for Best Foreign Film in the 2005 Oscars.
The sign that the movie was good was that we got to the booking office early and there were only seats left in the first three rows from the screen. The theatre was full when the movie came on. It was so good that the audience clapped spontaneously at the end of the movie - a very rare occurance and nobody moved while the credits rolled as the closing song was so moving and beautiful.
Seems it is only available on Amazon.com in the USA and they have a DVD that will work in SA but not in the USA. I think we will be buying it. If you're interested, read the entries about the movie on Amazon.com or on Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/As_It_Is_in_Heaven. Miss this movie and you have not lived!

Otherwise the babies have been well behaved and all is well. Now for the Super 14 victories for the SA teams ... What an exciting weekend.

Hello to all the FEDS. Thanks for all the new holiday photos. All the best, Caroline, in your new little flat - it's nice to have a place that you can call your own. Can't wait to see you all in a couple of weeks.
Love to you all
