Well, by 06:45 we had not heard from Norose and feared the worst - another day of late arrival. At 07:15, Fiona phoned her cell which was answered by her mom who said she had left as normal for work and that she had forgotten her phone again.
At 09:30, we had heard nothing and I was still at home - second day running. We decided to take the babies to the Baby Hotel, the nursery school we used last week as they take your children at any time. Fiona had to come back home as the bases for the car seats were in her car, before we took them to the "hotel."
The feeling of hopelessness was not nice - one has to go to work but you cannot as there is nobody to look after the children.
Later on, Norose sent an sms to Fiona saying she had fallen getting out of the taxi and hurt (not sprained) her ankle. She was back at home.
Fiona then phoned to see if she was alright (she is) and she promised to arrive on time tomorrow. She also told her to carry her cellphone with her when she goes to work.
In future, we'll be taking the cost of the Baby Hotel off her wages - if she does not inform us, in time, that she can't make it. I think that is fair.
Otherwise, Emma and Daniel had there first "conscious" interaction on the lounge floor. They blabbered at each other for a few minutes - in-between a little wrestle and touching each other. It ended when Emma poked Daniel in the eye and he started crying. Wonderful to watch.

I know it sounds aweful, but I couldn't help but have a little giggle at the fact that Emma is beating up her big Bro, Daniel must get his act together and fight back, he musn't be fooled by Emma's cuteness!!
