Weigh in Time

You can't be serious - my grandfather uses Nivea cream on his face?

Well, I'd like to keep my face nice and soft with Nivea, but then I'm a girl!

Today the twins got weighed. Daniel now weighs 8,8 kg (length 71.4 cm) and Emma 7,15 kg (length 67 cm). the nurse is happy with their progress as are we. Both are now eating virtually everything at every mealtime which makes us happy.

We're also getting the sleep routine more fine-tuned now - Emma was asleep within 10 minutes tonight, Daniel took a little longer.

Their colds are sorting themselves out, which means we are sleeping more and so everything is great! Daniel seems to get on a real high from his cough syrup as it puts him in the most brilliant mood (hence taking longer to get to sleep).

The weather is warming up nicely (tomorrow will be 23 degrees) before the next cold front hits.

Fiona gets her new car tomorrow - a charcoal Ford Focus 2.0 litre sedan. A very nice car with a massive boot (a main reason for getting the car as the next set of pram seats won't fit in her current boot). I tease her saying FORD stands for First On the Rubbish Dump but actually she is now the one with the nicer, fancier car! Great excitement!

Oh yes, I handed in my resignation today in preparation to move to my new job at the end of June. Never a nice feeling as one feels you are exposing yourself to unnecessary danger but an excellent move for me.
