Emma

Emma on her knees - on the road to walking.

Emma has suddenly taken a few steps forward. Her crawling and sitting is now virtually natural, and today she started getting on her knees to look over her mom's leg and to investigate the stairs to the lounge. Quite incredible to watch.

Fiona has put together an mix of all sorts of items with different shapes, colours and sizes. Well, Emma had the old ice cream tub with these items on her lap within seconds of the tub being put out onto their play mat. Lots of banging and investigating resulted until she got tired and went off for her afternoon nap.

Today we went off the the Food Show at the Sandton Convention Centre. We put Daniel into the bigger seat for the pram which he found a little uncomfortable as he is a little too small for it (and he is too big for his old seat). Anyhow, we enjoyed the show - lots of interesting things to taste and buy. One thing that I didn't realise that twins would bring is how many people stop and talk to you about them. I cannot remember when we last sat in a restaurant or coffee shop and somebody didn't come and talk to us about the twins - both men and women. Often they also touch and even pick them up - something we do not enjoy them due to flu and all the other things around. Interesting however to see the compassion that people have. At the show we had this little but aggressive business man cooing at them. Quite nice to see. Oh this superstar life ...

Two months ago, on 6 May 2007, I put a visit counter onto this blog. In two months, we have had 659 visits to the blog. That figure is absolutely way beyond what we expected. Thank you for being so interested in our miracle and life changing experience.

Now if you left a message, we would know who visits the site (we get 9-12 visitors a day mostly at 10 am, lunchtime and then very late at night). Very interesting.

I am sure you can guess who "the very late at night is". Before we go to bed, the last thing I do, is check the blog so it is possible it is Beth or us.

We just LOVE the blog and well done to the authors.

WOW! I can't believe she's taking to almost walking in such a spike of movement development! It was only a couple weeks ago since they were starting to crawl! This is absolutely amazing! I wish I was around more to adapt my studies. I think my knowledge would be so much bigger if I could witness things actually happening.
love to all.
