Daniel is giving us lots of grief - every second night! He just refuses to get into bed and makes such a big deal of it that he alarms his sister with his extreme fit. Not easy and so we are devising pretty devious methods to avoid the temper tantrums. It is all about changing the direction of the conversation/activity or even the location of the action (he won't change on the changing table but doing it standing up is fine).

Tonight he tried to eat his yoghurt out of his shoe which caught a sharp rebuke and a quiet smile!

We're starting to have to really watch what is on TV as they are beginning to register what is going on. Daniel loved Finding Nemo on SABC 3.

this weekend it was pretty warm so Emma decided to derobe and was shortly followed by Daniel. They then proceeded to throw some stones into the soil next to a rose which were then retrieved to throw again. Well, of course, they push and shove each other while retrieving the stones which meant that Daniel landed on the very thorny rose. He didn't actually scream too much. His bum is one series of scratches as he pullec himself out of the rose. Looks quite bad but is actually superficial cuts - nothing to serious. We expected it to burn in his bath but he showed no signs of any discomfort.

Tonight they insisted on being spun on my office chair until they were wimpering from the dizziness. The thrill was then to climb down and somehow lie/collapse on the ground while feeling quite badly disorientated. Took quite a few demanded spins for the enjoyment to wear - or the sea sickness to kick in.

Otherwise did you enjoy the Grand Prix? What a finish. One wonders what kind of reward Glock will get for letting Hamilton through. We felt for Massa as he did nothing wrong although ferrari were not as consist this season (remember the fuel hose incidents and Kimi's crash into Hamilton). Now to countdown to next year.

Bedtime!
