Jabs

Emma has decided that she can walk all the way from the car to the creche door, and feels very important after having accomplished it! It seems to take her mind off the fact that I disappear, as she hasn't cried for 3 days now when we get there. I am so pleased as it obviously means she is settling down to her new routine. They are sleeping a bit better again, after being quite painful recently.

Daniel has started balancing really nicely on his feet now, and lets go of furniture for quite long periods of time. Soon all hell will break loose with both of them walking, but I must say, we are really looking forward to the day he starts walking, as it will be a lot easier than having to carry him from car to house and creche, etc. He seems to love creche, and has made a few friends. Although he isn't walking, he has 'walked' a hole right though his lovely leather shoes from Aunty Beth, so I went today and found him some more closed shoes that hopefully he can still wear for winter this year. Although they aren't leather, they are super soft and pliable, so walking will be easy in them. Emma also got some, as one can't get with out the other also getting.... I also got them some more trousers, as next winter ones are still too big, and they have worn trousers every day for the past 10 days with all this cool rainy weather!

They had their (belated) 15 month MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) injections this afternoon, and were very good. Emma was a bit weepy, but was very tired, and cried a little bit, but it didn't take long for her to stop. Daniel didn't cry, but just looked a bit surprised at the prick in his shoulder! Emma has picked up a paltry 50g since the middle of December, and Daniel has lost weight, but the sister is not at all concerned as they are eating like horses and are very active.

When I got to work this morning, the electricity was off, but as it had gone off at 6:30, it wasn't long before it was back again and by 8:30 we could have coffee! Climbing 3 flights of stairs without the promise of coffee at the end is not, however, the best way to start the day!

Hi FEDS
We were wondering when Daniel would decide it was time to walk.It certainly will be interesting how you will catch them when the run in opposite directions----just like your 3 sisters did to us when we went to Disneyworld.
We have just received our power back at work after a 2.5 hour break but the worst is 8.00 pm to10.30 pm at home ---you can imagine our TV addicts comments !!!
We are hoping to commence building of the 2 units sometime next week
Cheers for now
Luv you bunch
Barry
