Mozart?

Our sweet little musician at work! Often when I am playing he comes to sit on my lap and plonks along with me. This time I got up and left him on the stool and he sat and 'played' for ages before climbing off the stool all on his own.
This week they are being so sweet with each other and have spent loads of time wrestling with each other while giggling their heads off, and the new thing in the car on the way home is to laugh. I am not really sure what is so funny on the back seat, but is wonderful to have two such happy little beings. Obviously that doesn't mean that tantrums and squabbles don't occur, they just seem to be few and far between in the past few days.
Thanks, Steve, for letting the world know about my TV appearance! I must say though that I was not as nervous as I imagined I would be. Sam Cowen is a very easy going person, and puts one at ease quite quickly. I actually really enjoyed it, although it was rather brief, and look forward to further chances to perfect it! I think live tv is quite scary, as there are not really any second chances, but all 9 of us who featured on the show did well, I thought! It was really strange though, watching myself last night (we recorded the show) as I seem to display mannerisms that I wasn't even aware of!
We are noticing the first signs of autumn, as some of our trees are beginning to lose leaves, and it is getting dark quite early now. The temps are still fabulous however, and I am trying to get as much use out of the toddlers' summer wardrobes as possible before they outgrow them completely. I am sure they have recently had a little growth spurt, especially in their feet, as they both wore size 2 shoes in January (I bought them some new sandals in December). By the end of Jan I had to go and buy size 3 for both, and told Steve that they would see them through winter. Well, one of Daniel's pairs that I bought only got worn once and I have now bought size 4 for them both! Amazing! There's the method in buying shoes from Ackermans, as they are lovely and pliable, and cheap too, so it doesn't feel too bad if they don't wear them too much!
Remember Emma's fashion accessory of the old computer mouse? Well, Daniel uses it as a phone. He often holds it up to his ear and holds long conversations with someone on the other end. He will then pass it to us for a chat, and then wants it back to continue the natter! I gave it to Emma as a 'phone' this evening, but to her it is still a necklace / scarf, so she didn't talk into it. The other day Emma was dancing all on her own, and there was no music playing, but she was grinning and swaying and having a blast. Lovely to watch the little imaginations taking off.
Saturday morning, nice and early we will be taking them for their first haircuts. Steve is coming with us, in case we have two freaked out children, but my hairdresser is a very gentle lady, and she has said she will take it easy with them. Will report back on reactions to that! I have trimmed Emma's fringe a few times, but she is really starting to look a bit shaggy!

Hi FEDS
Wow,our TV celebrity looked rather calm & collected----well done doll.
I think Steve's punishment should be zero as we all had a right to know about out TV star.
Thank goodness for the blog cause we (from a distance --especially Granny Lesley ) are kept nicely up to date with the golloping development of our little tots.
