Sick

We are all sick with some kind of bug that gets the stomach going plus makes you bring up everything.
Emma brought up first on Saturday evening in the study and then later in her bed. Daniel joined her on Sunday morning and both repeated their performances at Granny Jo's that afternoon. And then at 2am this morning, Fiona and I joined them! What a nightmare night - we had both twins plus ourselves in the bed. Daniel moaned and moaned until we eventually worked out that he was hungry. By this time the birds were calling!
And so today, we all stayed home - and everyone seemed to get better until about 10:30 this evening when Daniel and Emma then brought up their supper etc. within about 20 minutes of each other.
The doctor says that it is a bug going around and there is not much that can be done except to watch their hydration etc.

Otherwise, Granny Lesley arrived late last night after a day flight via Amsterdam. She spent the day with ourselves and Caroline. She also brought lots and lots of clothes from the UK winter sales so we are fully equipped for the winters ahead (note the plural). Actually very much appreciated. The rumour that the Terry's Chocolates that she brought did contribute to my bringing up are totally false!

Speaking of winter - there is a definite chill in the air. All the leaves are falling. Looks like the cold will be with us sooner than later.

Oh - Emma's tooth seems to be retreating from its first appearance! A long process ... She has now beaten my own record of producing teeth very late.

Lets hope we can sleep tonight.
