Great excitement. Fiona and Daniel are home! Really nice to have them back.
This morning we were taught how to feed and bath him, change a nappy etc. and off we went to go home (okay it took about 30 minutes to get him into the carry cot - big learning curve).
He is sleeping our babies room in the big cot, surrounded by rolled-up nappies. Seems very contented. Now we're setting up schemes to sterilize bottles, make formula and all those exciting things! We are sitting in the room on the lazy boy watching every breath (as I'm sure all new parents do).
Feeding time in ten minutes ...
Emma is doing well too. She is now taking more milk than Daniel but won't be released from ICU and thus to us before she hits 2 kg. We're hoping that is by the end of the week.

I am really pleased that both Emma & Daniel are doing so well (I know what you mean about watching every breath!). Treasure each and every moment, they are wonderful at this stage (and every stage hereafter!).
Congrat's both, you made beautiful babies!
