Some pictures taken this morning by Fiona while waiting for Norose
Well the Norose saga is sorting itself out - well sort off - she only arrived at 08:30 meaning Fiona was an hour late for work - luckily her boss is overseas. ccording to her the bus that she normally catches is still broken and so that route just remains busless. She then has to compete for a seat in a taxi which takes a long time. Tonight she returned to us at 18:30 as no bus had arrived and she needed money to catch a taxi.
Good news announced today is that a private consortium is building a monorail from Soweto to JHB so hopefully the transport situation will improve by 2009.
Well, the additional bad news is that when I tried to drive out this morning the gate would not open. I then saw that the electric motor had been stolen. They had obviously opened the gate with a remote or climbed over the fence and then unscrewed the motor and took it. There were bits of plastic and nuts lying near by so it looks like they at least battled a bit. Anyway, it has been reported to the police and the insurance assessor has been so here is hoping that we'll get a new one soon.
Emma is still sick. She has quite a phlegmmy cough and her one eye was gummed up today. She is otherwise full of beans, eating all her meals including the porridge which until recently was a big battle. In fact, it is nice to start seeing the weaning taking effect as the meals are beginning to attract more attention and we're having to persevere with getting the bottles finished. Exactly what we need.
Daniel seems to be so much stronger today. He is really very powerful - lifting himself up with little apparent effort.
Enjoy Thursday! Only two days before a South African team wins the Super 14 for the first time.

They are absolutely gorgeous, I hope Emma doesn't get jealous of Daniel's rare beauty... maybe that's why she poked him in the eye.?.?.?
Hope Emma is feeling better.
Love, hugs and kisses
