Weekend

We had a good weekend with Emma and Daniel. I left work at lunchtime on Friday as Norose had to go to a funeral. We went to the Paed for a 1 year check up, and he is happy with their progress.

On Saturday morning we both had things to do at our local shopping centre, so we decided to get going nice and early, and had a lovely breakfast at Wimpy. We fed a lot of our breakfast to Emma and Daniel, who both loved it. I have not given them mushrooms before, and they went down a treat! In the afternoon we went to Andrew's birthday party, which was fun! Our 2 were very well behaved, but Emma was suffering from separation anxiety each time we put her down, so, she ended up sitting with us most of the time. Daniel loved the sand pit and ended up lying down with his ear to the sand! We need to get sand for ours and then he will have his own pit to play in.

Last night we sat with them for ages, and played in the paddling pool with them (which is still in the sunroom). There seems to be a direct correlation between the amount of quality time spent with them and how relaxed they are for bed, as they went to sleep really easily. Yet another indication that Norose lets them do their own thing, and does not spend constructive time with them as they are very different during the week.

Naturally we watched the rugby, and now look forward to this coming weekend's game with interest and anticipation.
