Rain

The great news is that we have had the first rains of the summer - a welcome relief after the dryness and heat of the spring. Everything is suddenly green and all the sneezing has stopped. Nice!

On Friday night we celebrated my sisters birthday which was nice. The twins were relatively well behaved and of course dominated our conversation (as they always do). They had a late night (one of several over the weekend) which meant they wake up early.

Granpa and Granma Fuller arrived on Saturday for a short visit before their week at Sun City. The twins really appreciated the present of two small sponge chairs which they sit in a lot. Of course - who dominated all our conversation? The twins!

On Sunday, the twins slept late (very nice). We had lunch with some family friends of the Fullers. It was interesting to meet total strangers and to find so that we have so much in common in that we have so many common friends.

As Sunday evening was beautiful (and not raining) we had a nice braai before putting the twins to bed - (quite a battle) as they were having so much fun with the Grandparents, and they had not slept at midday as they normally do.

And then the Fullers went off to Sun City and we went off to work - not much other news. They return on Friday.

We're looking forward to the Currie Cup Rugby Final on Saturday - and of course a Sharks win, and then we're hoping for a Massa victory in the final Formula One race on Brazil in two weeks time.

Notice that we have had 5,000 views of the blog (since we have been counting).
