This week is full of medical issues.
Fiona had her breasts scanned to see if there are any growths as she stopped taking her Tamoxifen when we discovered that she was pregnant. well the news is really good - no growths in either breast and in her lymph nodes. Two doctors looked just to make sure and they could see nothing.
Then this evening, we visited the gynae and found that both babies are now lying head down with Emma taking the lead to get out in a few weeks time. Both have grown by about 400 grams (Emma: 1,800 grams and Daniel: 2,100 grams). The doctor is really happy with their progress, and says they are big for twins.
He also set a preliminary date of 9 October at 13:30 - he is going away for the weekend - hence the 7th is not suitable.
Fiona is experiencing some swelling on her left arm and leg which is usual and is on the side that the cancer was removed from. Doctors seem to think all is okay.
Her next appointment is with the Oncologist on Thursday.
So it is all good news.

Dear Fiona & Stephen,
I am thrilled with your good news - Fiona you really deserve this as I know how much you have always wanted to have kids. Glad to hear that there are no growths.....best of luck with the appointment on Thursday and will be waiting to hear the good news around October 9. Take care and all the best in the coming days - maybe you can visit us when the twins are of a manageable age.
Lots of love,
