Yesterday Fiona picked up a flu bug that put her into bed early last night. Luckily caroline had today off, and this evening Fiona is feeling a lot better although she has a sore throat. we'll see if the babies pick up anything.
Both are now making the sound "BBBBB" by vibrating their lips and putting out copious amounts of spit. Daniel is also making quite a few other sounds quite readily which is nice to see. The imitation of our behaviour and sounds has begun! Very sweet and rewarding as the responses are coming thick and fast.
Over the weekend, Daniel started refusing to finish his bottles which we were a little worried about. Luckily he started feeding again yesterday so all seems well. Emma is still doing the demand feeding thing and last night required four feeds. Luckily Norose was in.
They were weighed today - Daniel is about 7kg and Emma is at 5.7 kg. The scale is temperamental so next week's weigh-ins will be more accurate.
