Sorry for the long absence! Last week I had to go into work on two of the days, and then on Thursday I had a job interview (for the MD's secretarial position in the company that I currently work for). On Thursday night we left for a long weekend in Durban, so time flew without a blog entry.
Durban was hot as anything, and the babies (especially Emma) suffered quite a bit with the heat. Luckily on Saturday night we had a huge storm, and that really cooled things down nicely for the next 2 days. The aunties all love them, and were naturals at feeding and looking after them! We took them swimming in the pool, which was very luke warm, and both of them absolutely love it! On Monday morning, early, Steve and I took them to the beach. Steve had bought a beach tent especially for this occassion, and it was a great help. We undressed them, slathered them in sunblock, and they kicked around happily in the tent.
While we were on the beach, work phoned me to offer me the job that I had applied for, so I have accepted it. One of the conditions though, is that I start on 5 March. My maternity leave finishes on 16 March, so it is 2 weeks early, but for the salary they are offering it would be silly of me to turn it down for 2 weeks.

It was an amazing wknd - so great seeing you all at last...hope to meet Caroline soon tho. Emma & daniel are super cute & I was amazed @ how alert they are already (and how well Emma's vocals work, hee hee)I loved helping with the feeds & just holding them both as much as possible...look forward to april when we will see you all again...not long to wait..pls send us all the pics you took this wknd..lotsa love, Lols
